Dorothea Lange was a prominent portrait photographer during the Great Depression, primarily shooting farmer displaced. She traveled the world selling her photos as her only income and ended up in San Fransico where she began to shoot unemployed men. She created many memorable photos that continue to display the disarray of the great depression era.
